Ending a cultural tour to France to present his latest novel "Blood and Sea" (Editions winds elsewhere, France), Gary Victor came to the Book Fair Breuil.


On Friday, October 15, 2010, he met with high school students Blum (Le Creusot 71). And Sunday 17, he participated in the debate entitled "At the heart of Haiti " debate moderated by Gerard Fox, secretary general of the Association "Children of Haiti."

Born in Port-au-Prince, Gary Victor is praised by readers in Haiti. After studying agronomy, he worked as a journalist for many years and has held important positions in the Haitian public. Rene's son Victor, who is perhaps the most important sociologist of his country, the writer has inherited a lucid and uncompromising about his company. He was awarded the 2004 RFO for his song "I know when God comes to walk in my garden" and in 2008 the Caribbean prices for "The bells of the Brazilian."
His latest novel "Blood and sea " poses the question: Can we expect a prince charming in Haiti?
